Our Mission

The Mission of our various F.B.A communities is the same mission of Jesus. When Jesus began his mission at Galilee, he started his work among the men who were in the shadow of death.

"After John the Baptist was arrested, Jesus left Nazareth, he went and dwelt in Caper´na-um by the sea, in the territory of Zeb´ulun and Naph´tali, so that what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: "The land of Zeb´ulun and the land of Naph´tali, toward the sea, across the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles, the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and for those who sat in the region and shadow of death light has dawned.& Matthew 4:12-16

The F.B.A mission also is the same. It is focused towards those who live in the shadow of death and in darkness.

News & Events

"Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me..." - Jesus Christ (The Gospel of Mathew 25:40)

Before the Blessed Sacrament - Intercession

Our First Mission is Intercession before the Blessed Sacrament. Our ashrams are perpetual adoration centres where the Blessed Sacrament is exposed 24 hours. The volunteers take turns to pray along with the inmates in the presence of the Eucharistic Lord. We also have Holy Mass and community prayers (Rosary, Divine Mercy); we intercede for the Anointed Ministers (The Pope, Cardinals, Bishops, Priests, religious), The Country, Missionaries, for conversion for hardened sinners, souls in purgatory, sick and suffering, etc.,

Spreading of the Divine Mercy Devotion

Our second mission is to spread the devotion of Divine Mercy started by St. Faustina. We spread the Divine Mercy devotion at parishes through mission retreats, workshops, spiritual guidance. We also conduct retreats for religious Congregations. We also distribute posters, pamphlets free of cost to local parishes.

Promoting Marian Devotion

Our third Mission is to promote the devotions of the Blessed Virgin, Mother of God. We conduct Marian retreats and distribute posters, rosaries freely at parishes. F.B.A along with its volunteers are consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and pray the rosary and spread its devotion.

Divine Mercy in Action

Our fourth mission is to live a life of prayer, a life imitating the gospels. We at the ashram become instruments in the hands of the Almighty to show God's infinite Love and Mercy. Our ashrams are also called Gospel living centres. We show God's love in us, working through us by untiringly toiling in the service of the forsaken destitutes. The volunteers of the ashrams live a life of austerity and penance to pray for the whole world. We also have a prolife home, Jeeva Samrakshanalaya where we pray for the abortions in the world and to take care of abandoned children and unwed mothers.

People who are in the crisis of Depression, those addicted to smoking, drinking and drugs, those with behavioural problems or suicidal tendencies, those in the clutches of vice or in the possession of the devil, can avail of the help offered by F.B.A through counselling and prayers.

Outreach Ministry

Our fifth and final mission is evangelization of the poor. We are called to be torch-bearers of Christ to his people, to bring them out of darkness. Our volunteers take turns every week to visit the nearby cities, towns. They carry with themselves packets of food and try to befreind all beggars, urchins at the roadsides, at markets at the railway stations, at the hospitals, etc., though we cannot house all the beggars, destitutes we are called to show God's infinite love to each of our brothers. We conduct Love Festival Camps where we invite all destitutes, wandering beggars, youth on the roads to a particular venue and they are cleaned, given new clothes by the VIPs of our society.

Our volunteers conduct counselling at various parishes, shrines to counsel the people with problems, they are guided to reconcile with their family, guided to make a right decision to come back to the church with the help of the sacraments of the Church.

We are also praying to bring the youth of the nearby areas together and to guide them, animate them to be true apostles of Christ.
